Naan bread
The perfect extra treat to dip into your favourite curry!
Here’s what you need to get started;
- 250g GF plain flour
- 2 tsp xanthan gum
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 175ml lemonade
- 30g butter
Sift together the flour, xanthan gum, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Pour in the lemonade and mix together to form a sticky, soft dough.
Tip on to a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes. Transfer back into the bowl and cover with oiled clingfilm for 10 minutes.
Divide the mixture into 4 pieces and roll out to a flat oval shape. Heat a frying pan, melt the butter and then brush over one side of each dough. Add each to the pan, butter side down and heat for around 3 minutes until golden. Brush the top side with butter and flip over, frying again for a further 3 minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy!
